北京大学地中海区域研究中心（CMAS）于2015年成立于北京大学，法恩瑞（Enrico Fardella）副教授任中心负责人。地中海区域研究中心（CMAS）集中了多学科学术专长（历史、国际关系、经济、外语等），以便为地中海动态及其与中国日益增长的利益关系提供高水平研究分析。2016年，地中海区域研究中心（CMAS）成为地中海研究所亚洲联合会( AFOMEDI )的中国代表，该协会由韩国釜山大学设立。

The Center for Mediterranean Area Studies (CMAS), directed by prof. Enrico Fardella, has been established in 2015 at Peking University. CMAS gathers multidisciplinary academic expertise on the Mediterranean region (in history, international relations, economics, foreign languages, etc.) in order to provide high-level scientific analysis on the Mediterranean dynamics and their growing interconnections with Chinese sphere of interests. Since 2016 CMAS works as the Chinese representative of the Asian Federation of Mediterranean Institutes (AFOMEDI), established by the University of Busan, in South Korea.
